fashion,
My Wardrobe: Fluffy Blouse and Leopard Print
Welcome to the new year guys! This is officially the first post of the year. I'm really excited about what the this year has to offer. I hope you are too? You have to be.
I'm introducing a new segment on the blog (actually, renaming or rather caption an old segment). I discovered last year, that I'm terrible with coming up with titles for my posts and it kind of affected my blogging. So after much thought, I decided that instead, I would introduce a "MY WARDROBE" section which would feature outfits from my closet then write about it or just scribble something down to entertain you. I hope that's cool? I would also love to know if you think the name is okay or you have better names. I'm open to suggestions.

Honestly speaking, I didn't plan for this post to be like this. This outfit post was from last year. I did a shoot but I didn't know what to write. It happens sometimes. I know. I need to plan more. So here it goes...
When I was a child, I adored the idea of a powerful woman...the Hollywood idea of a powerful woman : Long fur coat, blood red lipstick, oversized shades, stilettos and flashy jewelry. So growing up, I always wanted a fur coat or anything fluffy. Nigeria's weather wouldn't let me be. I would look absolutely crazy wearing one in the Nigerian heat. So I came across this cute fluffy blouse at Mr Price and I just had to get it. I was perfect and goes well with the weather. I paired it with this animal print midi skirt and coral wedge sandals. Gold accessories felt like the right way to go.
During the shoot, I don't know what came over me. I just felt the funk within me wake up. I sort of felt like Dina Ross with the afro *covering my face*.
Your Views Matter
That's it. Do you like it? Is this outfit something you can add to your wardrobe? Would love to know in the comment.
Love the fluffy top and glasses. I will come and take it. Just get it ready.
