My Wardrobe: Two Ways To Style An Oversized White Shirt
Is the blog post title too long or it's just me? *shrugs* Who cares, right?
I was asked about my personal style once and I couldn't quiet put a label on what it was. Then I started thinking, researching, trying to come up with something. At the end, I discovered that I fitted into more than one style type. Honestly, after this discovery, I concluded that I didn't want to fit into just one. Life is full of options and I chose not to limit myself to just one. So it's safe to say that my style is ever versatile and ever evolving. I'm going to stick to that.
So the base outfit for the two different styles is an oversized shirt, one that I've become a little too attached to.
For the first look, I decided to look a little laid back, accessorising with a pee cap and my trusty backpack. Creating a sporty playful look.
For the second look, which is the original look, I teamed my shirt with a Ghanian smoke dress 'fugu'. Incorporating the smoke dress into the look totally changed the style creating a traditional feel to the outfit. As usual, I went with metals for jewelry and aviators just because.
The beauty about fashion is how accessories and add-ons can do wonders. Thinking about it now, I think I would have loved to try this look with sneakers.
Your Views Matter
I'm always excited to hear from you. What are your thoughts on both looks?

ReplyDeleteThanks dear. I would have loved to wear a pair of sneakers too but it would have been too cliché. Thanks tho. As for guys, I'm hopping I can have collaborations with male style bloggers when I get back to Lagos so fear not.
