I really love spring and summer because they're the perfect time to bring out the big guns when it comes to prints, patterns, bold and bright colors, easy free flowing textile. They're kind of the "go-crazy" season with personal style. I think spring  is the girliest season in the fashion/style world.

So  my love for spring made me decide to do a short series on spring outfit ideas. I hope I'm able to complete the series before summer. For my first outfit, I decided to do something casual. A black cotton cropped top with sheer details and a pair of spring green  pleated shorts. I teamed this a wide brimmed straw hat and  wedge sandals.

I think what I love most about this outfit apart from the hat are the sandals. I've had them for a while but never really wore them so I never knew how amazing they looked. I'm definitely going to wear them more often.

This outfit is simple, chic and can be uber casual the moment you toss the wedge and replace them with a pair of slip ons, flip flops or flat sandals.
