2015 HIGHLIGHTS
Looking back now, it feels like just last week we screamed ¨Happy New Year!¨ into 2015 and now it's over. The year has been amazing. Yes, there were highs and lows, storms and calm but we all scaled through. This year for me was...eventful. So today on the blog, i just want to do a little recap on the year so far as it finally comes to an end.

Final Year and Defense
Finally, I reached my last semester in university. I imagined it would be glamorous with little stress. My theory was: Less Courses= StressLess but I was just jonsing. In fact, that was my toughest semester in school. I went through hell with my final project. I was scared at some point that I wouldn't graduate but fortunately for me, my project supervisor was God sent. She made it all good for me. I thought that was over, then my final exams came. I didn't have a problem with my studies but just then, thoughts of my dad made me depressed. God stepped in as usual and I aced my finals.

Graduation
Grad week? Best one week of my life in Babcock University. The events, dinners and last days I got to spend with some people made this week memorable. I was sad that my dad wasn't alive to witness my graduation but my mum made it all beautiful. I just love that woman.

Sewing Lessons
I love fashion...clearly and i've always wanted to sew so I used a better part of my summer to learn how to sew. It was fun. I constantly blew my mind when I created outfits. I haven't featured anyone on the blog but next year I should. A plus side to learning how to sew was that I got to spend more time with my boyfriend. That was my motivation ; )

Kenya
Half way through summer, an amazing opportunity popped to. I volunteered to work anywhere in the world with AIESEC. I picked Kenya and worked with Dyslexia Intl Kenya  in Rare Gem Talent School. My experience in Kenya was awesome...that's an understatement. I got to understand kids with learning disabilities from a whole new perspective and made friends with all of them. I even fell in love with some of them. I got to spend two months touring and teaching. I got to try things I never imagined myself ever doing. I went mountain climbing, ostrich riding, sailing the Indian ocean, learnt how to swim in a day (i never thought i would swim...ever). I also met and spent time with some amazing people- Hannah, Nancy, Titi, Grace & her family, Santana & her family, Sue, Goah, Masaria, the list is endless. I had a chance to attend the Kenya Fashion Week without spending a dime. The event was lit. Spent time and made a lot of friends with the designers and models.  I didn't want it to end but alas all good things much come to an end.

Ademide´s Departure
For about two years, my boyfriend and i planned to travel for our Masters program together but life is just a big pot of beans. I didn't travel. I´m sure you can guess why. He had to travel without me. I didn't even get a chance to play out this super romantic good-bye i had planned. I was already in Kenya. I can't say that this was a low point. It felt like a low but I was incredibly excited for him. I can't count how many times I cried and I still do. I miss him terribly and can't wait to see him.

NYSC
Hmmmn! NYSC was just wonderful. I was sad at first when I saw that I got posted to Kebbi. I know now some of you would be wondering, ´Where is Kebbi State on the map?´ I wondered too. I got to Kebbi and I experienced such a high that money can't buy. I was pampered and God just kept showing me that I was favored. An obvious sign that I had to stay back. So, for the next one year, I would be up North lounging with Alhaji´s and riding camels. I met more people that I've grown to really like. I also met my twin. I guess I enjoyed the whole experience because got involved in a lot of camp activities. Rural Rugged was too good to be true. There's nothing a fulfilling as stepping into a place and leaving your mark behind. This should give you an idea of how the experience was. I  returned to Lagos looking like burnt dodo. I'm no longer #teamlightskinned :(

Looking forward to next year and what it has to offer. This year was all about taking chances and risks. I never regretted a chance I took. I wouldn't stop trying new thing. I´m still wondering what My Drive for next year would be.
